Let’s talk about the basics. We started this business in 2004 based on a simple idea: it takes a Texas homeowner to know what a Texas homeowner needs in a home warranty. We are from Texas – we were born here, grew up here, schooled here, and married here. We started families, and we started a business here. When we bought our first home, we had a repair problem, and we simply weren’t satisfied with the mass-market warranty that we received. From that moment forward, we knew there had to be a better way.

Our heroes:

Who do we admire? Giving you a peek at our heroes hopefully sheds a little light on who we aspire to become.

First, we love the service and attitude of Southwest Airlines. Aren’t they great? They have a real, no-nonsense approach to caring for their customers, making it easy to travel while not taking themselves too seriously. As a brand, Allied Home Warranty aspires to deliver the same quality service – with a smile.

We also admire Beck’s Prime, the Texas-based burger joint. Sure, they sell hamburgers just like any fast-food chain (just like we compete against those national home warranty guys), but Beck’s Prime takes it to the next level by going a step further with better ingredients to create a higher quality experience.

Shiner Bock. The reasons may be obvious, but let’s be clear – it’s from a town that takes great pride in being “Texas-made.” We couldn’t agree more.

Why we care:

We care because we’re human. As silly as that may sound, we understand the hassle of having an A/C unit that breaks down in August right before friends come over for dinner. We know that everything seems to happen at the most inconvenient time. We care because it’s happened to us, too, and we wanted it fixed right away, just like you. We care because taking good care of you is good business for us.

Can we move mountains?  No.  But, we can commit to you that we will attempt to meet your expectations every step of the way. And, if we can’t meet them, we will explain to you in detail exactly why we cannot meet them.

What we see in the future:

Are we going to change the world? Maybe not, but that’s okay. What we can do is make a difference in how you care for your home – and that’s a big deal to us.
